This morning we enter the MTC (Missionary Training Center) in Provo Utah at 9:40 AM. My brother and sister Rod & Deanne will take us there and drop us off. We will be there 11 days then head to Indiana.
As you can imagine there are lots of mixed feelings in our hearts as we start this new chapter in our lives. A bit of apprehension wondering if we can keep up the missionary pace having been around those enthusiastic young missionaries in the past. A bit of fear can we be, do all the Lord will require.
I am reminded of a quote by Elder Steven D. Shumway
“Our preparation to meet Jesus Christ accelerates when we stop asking what God will permit and start asking what God would prefer…
When we serve to magnify Christ and not ourselves, our service becomes joyful.”
We have had a personal witness that our call to Indiana, Indianapolis Mission is right. So we go forward with faith trusting the Lord will help us fulfill this calling and blessing in our lives.💖
We love you all, thank you for your continued support, prayers & love in our behalf. Grateful for this opportunity to serve together. Grateful to serve the Lord and the people in Indiana.
This morning we choose to serve the Lord whom we love and the people in Indiana, whom we will grow to love, as we focus on sharing about eternal families, saving ordinances, and His plan of happiness💝
