At 5:50am the last thing we did when we left our apartment at the MTC was hang this sign on the door💖

A group of young missionaries got up early Saturday morning and met us downstairs as a service project to help carry our bags for us to the shuttle!

More elders to send the 3 couples off and one elder. One couple is headed to Mexico as Civil-rights specialist. Church sponsored program to travel the 32 states of Mexico and teach teachers of Jr and High school the importance of civil rights and religious freedom. They will work through the governor in each state. Another couple going to Canada as institute and MLS (Member leader) support and a young Elder to home for a brief time then on to Brazil.

Flights were good. As our plane approached Indianapolis I was thinking about what was in store for us. I reflected on our call from the Lord and marveled at the process that got us to this point. Our church leaders are truly inspired by the Lord.

Met some wonderful people along the way including a young Elder Harper returning home after serving 2yrs in Australia.

We had to stop and watch the Joyous reunion of this faithful young missionary and his family 🥰

We rented a car and headed 1/2hr northwest to Fisher Indiana where the Mission Office is.

Dinner was waiting for us and some of the missionaries and couples we will be working with. Such a fun group and we felt welcomed right away! The couple on the right of us are Elder and Sister Rowley. We will be replacing. They will stay a week to help train us on our assignments. The couple on the left are Elder and Sister Larsen. They arrived here one month ago and are the financial and housing coordinators so we will be a pretty new office staff.

The fall colors are beautiful here. The land is very flat with mostly deciduous trees, mother nature is definitely putting on a show.🥰 we attended church today and felt the sweet spirit of many friendly people.

Out our back deck is a pond surrounded by other apartments. Having never moved in 45+ years it is a different feeling to know we will be here for the next while. It seems pretty nice💖. We report to the Mission home 8 AM tomorrow morning lots to do, lots to learn, but we know this calling is from God and with his help all things are possible!
