When I think about my own life, my home, when things are in order life feels better. I wonder if that is because order is a divine quality, a reminder of our heavenly home.
“Organize yourselves; prepare every needful thing; and establish a house, even a house of prayer, a house of fasting, a house of faith, a house of learning, a house of glory, a house of order, a house of God” (D&C 88:119).
“Behold, mine house is a house of order, saith the Lord God, and not a house of confusion.” D&C 132:8
How do we keep our lives in order with so many moving pieces? I know that it is not easy, a constant juggling act but I am learning every part matters!
If you are the one who goes off to work grateful to provide for your family or the one who keeps a home in order, cares for young ones, keeps finances balanced, meals on the table because of love, you play a big part in creating stability and order in your family’s life.
If you are a teenager who does their school work, chores, gives rides to younger siblings, says thank you to Mom and Dad for all they do because you are truly thankful. Or a child who giggles with joy when older siblings or parents get home and gives much needed hugs and “I love yous” because they feel safe and loved. You matter! YOU make a difference! You are important, needed, wanted and you are LOVED!
If you live alone and balance all the above… WOW that is amazing! Please know you are not alone. The Lord SEES YOU, He knows your efforts. You are needed! You make a difference to others when you reach out and genuinely say “Hi, how are you?” You matter! YOU make a difference! You are important, needed, wanted and you are LOVED!

As we serve in this capacity as Office missionaries, my eyes have been open to how important every part is to moving the Lords work forward. We meet once a week Monday morning for a staff meeting. It is started with a prayer and spiritual thought before the needs of the missionaries serving and the calendar is discussed.

Each Sister/Elder makes a different in how the mission runs!
Whether it is Elder Nelson who secures safe housing for each missionary. Sister Nelson, who balances the Lord‘s money spent here, or Elder Davis making sure all Missionaries drive safe and have proper vehicles and bikes to get where they need to get. The Office Elders who make sure supplies are organized and available to the Missionaries in the field, help with apartment moves or check in with us often to see if we have problems that they can help with 😉.

A Sister Davis who buys bedding for incoming missionaries to help them stay warm and get much needed rest!
President and Sister Matheson who live what they believe and lead the mission through revelation, example and love.

An Elder or Sister who prays for divine direction and then follows the spirit to find someone who has been praying for divine help.
The Lord’s kingdom is a kingdom of order and all are invited, wanted, needed to help His work move forward. I bear testimony of that.
I see more clearly that each one of you make a difference in our lives! You lift us as you check in, we feel your prayers and love even though we are miles apart. Thank you, Thank you! Thank you!
You matter! YOU make a difference! You are important, needed, wanted the Lord loves you and so do we❣️ Make it a GREAT DAY!
