Since our last blog post I am glad to report I am better and stronger. I guess the Lord gave me a wake up call to take better care of me so that is what I am doing.😉.

We are back in the office full-time. The mission officially split July 1st. 122 missionaries now in the Indiana Fort Wayne mission 2 &1/2hrs north and 120 in our mission the Indiana, Indianapolis mission.

We do get texts, emails and phone calls from the wonderful Senior Office missionaries asking how to do…? Always grateful to help. It is NOT easy to run a mission office but they are doing a wonderful job💗

Elder Davis and I are catching up on reports for Salt Lake, labeling pictures for the mission history and ordering supplies and preparing materials for the next 21 missionaries coming July 22. We are grateful to still be able to serve here🙏

My unexpected health detour of amnesia for a day has caused me to reflect back on what happened several times. I have tried to remember and figure out the cause but nothing comes. I am told those memories and answers will never come.

Like I have said before it is such an odd feeling to have lost a day. If I dwell on it long I start to feel fearful it might happen again. I could see how easy one could get angry at God when you don’t know or understand the why? Wasn’t I doing everything asked of me?

There is no good answer! It just happened.

I have had to make a conscious choice to not look back in order to move forward again.

I have had to trust the Drs diagnosis and trust the Lord knows best. I have had to lean on my faith again.

Jeffery R Holland said..,

“In every stage and station of life, throughout every day and in every season – your Divine potential begins with your gift to Choose. Choose Faith.”

Prayer has played a BIG part in my ability to move forward. I am totally honest with the Lord, asking questions and praying for answers but as I wait on answers that may never come I am grateful for wise words from the Lord’s apostles and prophets.

President D. Todd Christofferson has counseled: “In the midst of this refiner’s fire, rather than get angry with God, get close to God.”

“Taking action after praying is a sign that our faith is real—faith that is tested in moments of pain, fear, or disappointment. Always think of the Lord as your first option for help. Don’t stop! Keep moving forward on the covenant path while you wait for an answer.” Elder Taylor G. Godoy

So that is what I am doing. I choose Faith! I trust the Lord sees the full picture and I trust His plan for me ♥️

We LOVE YOU! Thanks for your prayers. Forward with Faith we go❣️
